Sparkle in his eyes ....

When his wife broke him the news
That she now has "someone" else in her life
He felt he was being pushed to life's darker hues
And all he saw ahead was struggle & strife !

He did not want to hurt her happiness
Nor could he completely accept what lies ahead
He felt his life is now a complete mess
But he did not let any show in the words he said !

As days passed, he tried his best to do his part
He took care of her and tried to show he was there for her
But deep inside he witnessed them moving apart
As he saw his wife's love grow more & more for the other !

Yes, she did say that she loves him a lot more now
But, wasn't there a time when she said she loves only him
She changed so much he thought, but couldn't comprehend how
Wasn't he the one who worked hard to make true her every wish & whim !

She is in a lot of pain, he thought all because of this "someone"
He didn't know what he can do to ease her pain
He wished he could take her pain away from her and run
He did not understand what from all this there is to gain !

It happened that very moment, and his whole life froze still
As he saw the little one he held in his arms
He realized there is no longer any emptiness in life to fill
His baby has filled everything with his charms !

That was the second he whispered "Hello baby ... I am your dad"
And I love you more than anything else in this world
He felt the baby was the most precious thing he ever had
And the sparkle in his eyes said everything he never before told !

Love you Mom ....

In spite of her life being in turmoil and stress
She still treats her baby like a little princess
Her happy and once cheerful eyes
Is where you can see now sorrow lies

She as always, her troubles, tries to hide
As if there is none in the world to whom she can confide
Nothing in the world will give her peace & calm
Other than her baby saying "I love you Mom" !

Mommy has for her baby so much love
It is pure as the love from heaven above
No matter what, for her baby, she will always be there
Baby, don't forget your Mom, you go, no matter where !

Her baby is all grown up now
It still is hard for her to believe when and how
Baby, remember that God sent Mom to be with you
So love your Mommy a lot, just the way God wants you to !

My deep love for you ....

My baby, my darling, my love
Stay with me forever and now
My heart breaks seeing you leave
It doesn't end with any sigh or heave !

I ask God why it has to be this way
Why can't I just forever with my baby stay?
He says that if now I let you go
To Him, it will my deep love for you show !

God's reason, I still don't really see
But baby, I will do it if that's how it has to be
Remember darling baby, that I love you a lot
And you will every second of every day be in my thought !

I might not be there to tell you right from wrong
Neither will I be there to sing you a story & song
Baby, for your happiness & health to God I pray
And hope you think of your Mommy at least once every day !

For my baby ....

This was for my baby when he was still in Mommy's tummy ...

Days to weeks and weeks to months
I wait for you, my darling to come
With eagerness filled with joy and mirth
How wonderful would it be to hold you, my son.

Every trouble and pain, I will my angel endure
Just to see your smiling face
I never realized you could become to me so dear
And change my life in so many ways!

I will give you all I have and more my love
As you are the most precious gift ever
I never knew this side of me till now
Because I never knew of any little angel like you – never!

Little Firefly .....

When you feel life’s pulling you down
And all you do is wear on your pretty face an ugly frown
Just think of the shining little firefly
Glowing all the way, knowing live it will a day and then die!

However big the troubles you have
Share it with someone and bear it only half
A good friend is very hard to find
Find one, and never leave him behind!

God has made every day very unique
Enjoy its every moment as it passes by quick
One day you might be feeling low
The other, you’ll never know how high your spirits might go!
